Educational Philosophy

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52

“Increased in wisdom”

The educational philosophy of FCS is to guide students to the model of Jesus Christ demonstrated in the Bible. Jesus grew, Jesus he was increased in wisdom as he grew. Fellowship Christian School exists to cultivate students’ academics and spiritual wisdom.  (Matthew 7:24, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”) Building these foundational skills in students will provide a long-term life-long achievement.

“Increased in stature”

As Jesus increased in stature, Fellowship Christian School emphasizes the importance of taking good care of the body and choosing a healthy life as a proper worship to God. (Romans 12:1 “in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.”)

“In favor with God”

God created and sustains all things through His Son, Jesus Christ. , The universe and all life are dynamically related to God and have the purpose of glorifying Him. (Colossians 1:17, “And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” He’s before all things in both time, and in all superiority. In fact, that which sustains all things in none other than our Lord Jesus Christ.

Fellowship Christian School trains students to know God, love Him first in their lives and serve Him. (Matthew 22:37-38, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”)

“In favor with men”

Jesus commanded us to “Love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31).” Fellowship Christian School trains students how to honor and respect one another by teaching them practical ways to show kindness and building their character. (Proverbs 3:3-4, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”
