At the end of each school year, our elementary students are handed a packet of summer work to be completed and returned the next school year. While it’s not required, we encourage our kids to continue learning during the summer months in order to exercise the cranial muscle and avoid the summer lull that often takes over between semesters.
For those that completed their summer work, a reward of a Chik-fil-a lunch with the administration, followed by an afternoon at Waring Station Park was bestowed upon them. Sixteen students in the elementary enjoyed delicious chicken, beautiful sunshine, and some extra free time for their hard work.
Great job, guys!
